My beloved and amazing family and friends! How are you!

Here’s my new companion, Elder Miles, from Utah He is  a bit sunburned.  Elder Miles is the most obedient comp I’ve ever had!  It’s awesome!!!

It is super HOT!  Goodness, it’s only October (which is spring here in Uruguay) and it is blistering! I cook my breakfast out on the sidewalk every morning and still haven’t mastered the technique ‘cause it burns every time.  In January it is supposed to get to like 45 degrees Celsius (113 Fahrenheit.) I hear it’s super ridiculously hot, that you shoes just melt straight into the road!                          [Don't take his humor too literal]

Good news of the week! Leandro and Beatriz are getting married!!!! They are doing a bunch of paper work this Saturday. It’s going to be awesome!!!! Then they are taking out a wedding date for the 10th of November!!! That opens the way for them to be baptized.  It’s going to be sweet.

I don’t know why, but I have a strange feeling I might not be here for the wedding. But who knows?  Changes are in two weeks due to a conference President Heaton has in Argentina. It sounds like they have this conference yearly. So the next change will take place after only 5 weeks instead of the usual 6.

Here’s a picture of an asado that we ate. I can’t tell you what I ate. haha I think it’s against world policies.

Don't tell--carpinchu, world's largest rodent

We got rained on again this last Wednesday. Man, the storms here are brutal!

The email is kinda short this week . . . but I love you!!!!

 GOSPEL ON!!!!!

Love,
Elder Jon Albrethsen
